Before and After Care
What is it?
We provide high quality care for preschool and school aged children before and after the school day. We play games, play outside, create crafts, bake or cook, support students in completing their homework, and provide a safe and fun environment.
As with all of our programming, our staff have undergone background checks and have received CPR, First Aid, and a minimum of an additional fifteen hours of professional development per year. All teachers, staff, and substitutes have SCR clearance through The Office of Children and Family Services.
When is it offered?
Before care will begin at 7 AM and run until the preschool opens at 8:45.
After care will begin when the preschool closes at 3:30 and will end at 5:25 PM.
We follow the Onteora CSD schedule for holidays, closings, delays, and early dismissals. For the safety of our students and staff, there is no after care offered on early dismissals. We do remain open when after school activities are cancelled, but ask that families be mindful of the road conditions.
Who Can Attend?
Before and after care are offered to children enrolled at Woodland Playhouse and to children in the community between the ages of 5 and 12.
How Much Does It Cost?
Before Care Monthly Tuition: By popular request we have adjusted our before care rates to reflect an earlier or later drop off. Please read below:
5 days a week:
Drop off between 7 and 7:45am: $225 per month
Drop off between 7:45 and 8:30am: $195 per month
4 Days a week:
Drop off between 7 and 7:45am: $195 per month
Drop off between 7:45 and 8:30am: $165 per month
3 Days a week:
Drop off between 7 and 7:45am: $165 per month
Drop off between 7:45 and 8:30am: $130 per month
2 Days a week:
Drop off between 7 and 7:45 am: $135 per month
Drop off between 7:45 and 8:30am: $105 per month

Pickup between 4:45 and 5:25pm: $265 per month
Drop off between 3:45 and 4:45 pm: $215 per month
4 Days a week:

Drop off between 3:45 and 4:45 pm: $185 per month
3 Days a week:
Pickup between 4:45 and 5:25pm: $200 per month
Drop off between 3:45 and 4:45 pm: $150 per month
2 Days a week:
Pickup between 4:45 and 5:25pm: $165 per month
Drop off between 3:45 and 4:45 pm: $115 per month
Drop in Before or After Care (with notice whenever possible):
BC or early AC - $15 drop in
Late AC - $20 drop in

15% discount for same day enrollment in both before and after care
35% sibling discount for a second child
45% discount for a third child
