Woodland Playhouse

We will be open Monday - Friday from 8:45 am-3:30 pm, with 2, 3, 4 or 5 day options (depending upon enrollment). We will be offering half days as well (8:45-11:30am) for children enrolling all 5 days. We will continue to offer before and after care between the hours of 7:30 and 8:45am and 3:30 and 5pm at an additional cost.   Prices indicated on this intent to enroll form include the school day beginning at 8:45a and ending at 3:30p only.

 

Important notes before applying:

• Woodland Playhouse runs September-June following the Onteora School Calendar. Woodland Playhouse will close for Snow Days and follow Onteora for delays and early dismissals. 

• Parents are responsible for volunteering time for the benefit of the school and the community as well as participate in events throughout the school year - Community Meetings, Curriculum Night, Art Show, Community Work Day, Spring Fair, Graduation, etc.

• All parents and caregivers are required to read through our parent handbook in its entirety before enrolling.

The 10-month payment plan will begin on August 15, 2024 and end on May 15, 2025.

Any care during the months of July or August will go through our summer camps. Summer camp information becomes public in January or February of each year.

Please include a $125 non-refundable deposit per child to hold your child(ren)’s space for the upcoming school year with this application.

Financial options: 

• If you’d like to apply to pay the rates based in tier B-E, families should be prepared to submit copies of their prior or current year taxes and/or current pay stubs as well as a letter requesting the adjustment. Without this information and documentation, families will be expected to pay the default “tier a” totals. This request will be reviewed by the tuition committee and we’ll get back to you within three weeks of receipt of your completed application for registration.

  • Please note we made the switch from set pricing to sliding scale so that we can work to strike the balance between remaining accessible to all families while still maintaining the high level of quality programming we offer.

• You may apply for an income based subsidy available through Ulster County via the Department of Social Services.

• If you reside within the Onteora school district and your child turns 4 prior to December 1, 2024 you may apply for the UPK program on Onteora’s website for a chance at a half day or full day grant for the school year.
