We asked, you answered, and we listened! Children in Kindergarten through 6th grade are welcome to join Phoebe at Woodland Playhouse in outdoor time for six Wednesdays through November and December. Children will be invited to create, build, explore, inquire, and get fresh air from 4pm until 5:45pm. Homeschoolers and in-school children are both welcome! We are pleased that both the Phoenicia and Bennett buses drop students off right at our front door at around 3:45pm - at which time children may come in, have a snack and use the bathroom before the outdoor program gets underway.

Phoebe is a play-worker that recently moved to the Catskills from Ithaca, NY. She has experience working with an abundance of loose parts and spent some of her time over the last several years leading all outdoor play groups and observing in The Anarchy Zone in Ithaca when she wasn't busy with her own two children!  Phoebe is a welcomed addition to the Woodland Playhouse team and we are thrilled she's taken on our outdoor after school program.

For this pilot program, families pay for all six weeks. In the case of any cancellations due to severely inclement weather, the class will be rescheduled. The cost for the six week program is $200 per child, but scholarships and same sibling discounts are available for families in need - just reach out directly to Christina at ChristinaWoodlandPlayhouse@gmail.com.  Cash, checks made payable to Woodland Playhouse, or venmo payments to @Woodland-Playhouse are what acceptable payment methods.   Upon enrollment, parents will recieve an email with additional information regarding drop off, pick up, and details about some of our upcoming activities.
