At Woodland Playhouse, we believe in play. Our teachers work together to create a warm, welcoming, comfortable environment that allows children the space and opportunities to grow, learn, and thrive. In this space, children find themselves on the path to becoming independent, compassionate, self-confident individuals. Experiential exploration and both free and guided play plant the seeds for healthy learning. We devote our days to allowing children to experience the magic of their own imaginations and lay the foundation for later academic success. We prioritize time outdoors every day, in all types of weather, for the mental and physical health and well-being of all children and staff at Woodland Playhouse.

Woodland Playhouse was established in 2007. We are a small center preschool licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and a certificated Universal Pre-Kindergarten provider through the Onteora Central School District. In addition, our summer camps are licensed through Ulster County.
What's happening at Woodland Playhouse?
We've been muddling through this sometimes muddy, sometimes snowy, sometimes warm, sometimes chilly weather patterns and dreaming of our green, sunny summer days...and are so excited to share that our summer camp lineup is now live and available on our website! Please use the google form on the summer camp page to register and feel free to email Christina directly with any questions.

Simultaneously, we're looking ahead to next school year. If you're interested in enrolling your child in our 3-5 program for September-June OR before/after care for your school aged child, please reach out to Christina as soon as possible. Thank you!
